How many times are the homeowners/taxpayers in this country supposed to pay for rebuilding in LA? While I begrudge no monies spent for Ktrina and will begrudge none spent on the oil spill clean up, I sure do resent the insurance industry being held for these repairs retroactively and in violation of the contract bought and purchased by the consumer.
apparently, LA won a lawsuit against the Chinese manufacturer…where will that money go? Why doesn’t LA put the money in a fund to replace the Chinese drywall.
Insurance companies are not charities, governments, nor not for profits. Let LA put up the money…if tis is such an overweening issue….
Insurance companies are obligated to honor their contracts… A house rendered unsellable and unsafe by the building material used is logically the same as a house being destroyed by fire or flood..
