I live in Kansas and was also scammed by Marvin Ziegler and his wife Tamara in Oct of 2005.
He sold us a remanned “guaranteed” Intrepid engine that over a 6 month time period, cost us $3721.03 plus the value of the car. Dealing with Marvin for 6 months alone was absolute hell but in the end, for all the hell he put us thru, I got EXACTLY 12 miles out of his “guaranteed” engine. It seized up and we just couldn’t afford to put anymore into the car at that point. Of course, Marvin would not return my panic stricken calls or emails and I finally had to sell the car for almost nothing. At the time, my mother was dying and I simply had to have a vehicle to go and see her and to keep her lawn mowed. We had no choice but to buy another car and since then, I have found others thru Ripoff Report who bought Marvin’s engines that encountered the exact same problems. He gets your cash and then 1) doesn’t ship the engine for WEEKS and won’t answer your inquiries as to where it is, AT ALL 2) won’t answer any questions your mechanic may have on installation and 3) when the engine doesn’t work, he declares it the fault of your mechanic and refuses to stand behind his guarantee, even tho that mechanic IS certified per Marvin’s “guarantee” requirments. Plain and simple, Marvin and Tamara have made a living by ripping off decent, DESPERATE people. I hope and pray the Louisiana State Police can lock him up for very long time. Tamara could stand to do some time as well; she’s as guilty as he is. She actively participated in our deal and was well aware of what was going on. She even had the nerve to put BIBLE VERSUS on their Proautosolution website! God bless you Louisiana State Police. You seriously ARE my heros.

You are malicious woman. Tamara was lied to about the incedent because Marvin is the one who is a liar. They aren’t on a team. You weren’t the only one who has been ripped off and lied to, he does it to his own family too. She had little to do with the transaction and had no control over his actions. She quit involving herself when she found out what he was doing. You need to quit ruining her name. She deserves no jail time and you aren’t god to decide so. She was recovering from an autoimmune disease and has never had control over the business or money. After twenty years of having no control and being lied to, she has split ways with Marvin and is doing good for herself. So, you have no right to involve her in his scandalist activities. You’re right he was wrong and does deserve to be in prison, but not Tamara.

After going to Prison twice he has not learned yet, and his favored word is he HELPS people, sure you do. HELP TAKE THERE MONEY.Remember Marvin what you do in the dark always comes to the light. and you notary in Port Allen Stacy that is doing all those illegal stuff for you will go down with you.

The VIN was never changed on this phsycho’s van. She didn’t even pay what she owed on the van. Tamara drove that van for 2 years before you got it. You are just making sh*t up to try and get out of paying for it. As a matter of fact, we just filed paperwork at the Lafayette courthouse to authorize a repo of the van. She took it to state trooper headquarters and they told her that the Van has the original VIN.

Witness: YOU’RE not the one who’s out thousands and thousands of dollars because of Marvin and Tamara Ziegler and their filthy way of doing “business,” ok? You say Tamara was involved with him for twenty YEARS and didn’t know he was a criminal? And he’s been in prison TWICE??? Please! Anyone that believes that crock is too ridiculous to even reason with. And I wonder why there so many of us victims who are saying the exact same thing and only ONE of you defending her? Alot of people were financially devastated because of them and since you weren’t one of us, you don’t know what we’ve been thru or what you’re even talking about.
So just shut up. There’s more than one of us victims who won’t EVER forget what was done to us by that filth you now defend.

At the time of sale, the van was in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition, with the exception of non-working wiper fluid and right fender guard missing. The vehicle was purchased from a reputable dealer in Ohio (observed the title and transfer with papers). The VIN was NOT changed NOR tampered with. The Buyer did not make her payments on the vehicle with arrears at $1500.00. Seller did not charge any interest and gave the Buyer a payment plan. Vehicle was sold to Buyer for less than the Seller had invested in it, and for less than blue book value. The vehicle was owned and driven by Seller for personal use and was not sold for or from a business. Facts stated are the true facts. Buyer’s statements deemed incorrect as per the sale of said vehicle.

    Sue,
You are immensley mistaken. Slander and Libel suits may be forthcoming.
    1) Lies upon lies to the public.
    2) Assumptions without the facts; lying to yourself.
    3) I did not work with Marvin. I had just returned from the hospital, surviving from Guillain-Barre’ Syndrome. (paralyzed with massive pain and no cure; still in recovery)
4)There is and has NEVER been a website for proautosolution
    5) Absolutely no mention of God or religion has EVER been posted by me on a web site, nor spoken of with a stanger – EVER. I do not do bible verses, and never have. My religion is private. I was raised in the midwest.
    6) I built the website, “On-Site Fleet Services” near in the summer of 2003 – I WAS NOT working for Marvin.
    7) I am the mother of five wonderful children, and have spent my adult life puting them “number one” – 24/7.
    8) I am sorry that you were desperate.
    9) I have NEVER intentionally hurt anyone personally nor in any business – desparate or not.
    10) Marvin paid for your vehicle to be shipped to Louisiana by a trucking company, paid Acadiana Dodge to inspect the engine.
    11) The rest of your dealings with Marvin – I have no facts of for I was not involved in his business.
    12) You sent slanderess emails to eBay customers and destroyed reputations.
    13) You posted slanderess misinformation all around the web.
    14) Your husband within the police department does not seem to partake in your endeavor of spreading your hate and bitterness.
    15) Why did you not sue Marvin in civil court if you truely feel you were wronged.
    16) I am sorry for your car. I am not standing by any of Marvin’s business practices – I AM STANDING FOR MYSELF.
    17) You can call or email me anytime. I am innocent of your accusations, and am very tired of putting my name into Google only to see your terrible lies about me. I have been starting a new life with a medical career while going to school every night. I am a professional, and when I have new clients and friends in life, what will they see when I’m googled. YOU ARE WRONG. I only want you to stop – I cannot repair damage you have done to me, even with the slander and libel law suit. It’s been near five years of this.
    18) Marvin is not in my life – and has not been throughout much of a long and often painful marriage.
    20) Why don’t you email me, and I’ll provide refences to you. I have never met you, nor you met me. Everyone that knows me knows how honest I am – almost to a fault!

My stepdaughter got swindled by the “famous” Marvin Ziegler. Not only did she buy a car from him, she was talked into working for him in exchange for getting it fixed. Now she’s not only out her cash for the original car, but he still owes her for working and the “loaner” car was stolen. When she tried to contact him, he threaten her.

    NO Tamara, YOU are mistaken.
    1) Never have I lied about this entire transaction. NEVER.
    2) I don’t “lie to myself” (you must have me confused with someone else…)
3/4) You didn’t work with Marvin yet you built “onsitefleets?” And you most definitely posted the quote of “Love is patient, love is kind” (1 Corinthians 13:4-7)…I have a copy of it. In fact, I have copies of EVERYTHING from this deal.
    5) I’ll not say one word about your religion. 7) Marvin’s a lovely role model for your 5 kids, really upstanding.
    8) Desperate? You have no idea. My Mom was DYING and I needed that car to go see her and attend family meetings at the nursing home in her behalf. That junk engine cost me Tamara, more than you know or CARE.
    9) Why did that one person say your name was on their title then? Surely they didn’t “lie” too. Everyone but YOU has seemingly lied. Do you not find that odd? ALL of us scammed by Marvin are “liars” and yet, you’re bordering on virtual sainthood?
    10) Marvin said he would pay both ways. He did not; we paid to have the car hauled home. So would you consider THAT a lie? I have the paperwork available on that too.
    11) You sure know alot about this deal for “not being involved” Tamara. 12) “Slanderous” emails on ebay? Do you consider the truth to be slander? I simply told them of my experience and the experience of about 5 other people who had contacted ME in regards to Marvin.
    13) I did what I had to do Tamara. My whole goal was to warn others so they wouldn’t be finacially devastated by Marvin too. And if you weren’t “involved,” how do you even KNOW about this?
    14) My husband is the Chief of Police and he would in no way let me “slander” or lie about anyone. He would however let me speak the truth since he has spent a lifetime putting away people who are directly or INDIRECTLY involved in crimes.
15)Sue Marvin in court? I was BROKE after his scam.
    16) If you’re so “sorry” about my car, why don’t you reimburse me? I have all my receipts so I can give you a complete figure as to what the costs were. Or are you not that sorry?
    17) I have no desire to call you. I tried a million times when my car wouldn’t work and you didn’t want to talk THEN. Not only wouldn’t you or Marvin talk to me, you wouldn’t even answer my emails. I will NEVER stop trying to protect others from scammers like Marvin, take it to the bank. So sue away; I don’t care! I’d love nothing more than to tell what happened to us in an open court.
    18) Marvin’s not in your life anymore? Why, is he in prison again?
20)I have no desire to be your friend or hear your story Tamara, nor do I care about your medical career future. I wanted to work it all out 5 years ago and you didn’t want to talk then. I needed that car to go visit my Mom and I missed out on alot of precious time with her because of the games Marvin played. I can’t get that back; my Mom is DEAD now. If you think for one insane minute I will EVER in a million years forgive and forget that, you’re hugely mistaken. You say you’re in massive pain? Well, so am I so don’t expect any tears from me. At least you can take drugs for your pain. And there’s not ONE thing you can do or say to ease that hurt for me so please don’t think for one tiny moment that I will ever stop. I will tell my story to anyone who will listen and I will tell it honestly. There’s no need for me to lie; I don’t have to. I did nothing wrong. I bought an engine that Marvin guaranteed for 12 months or 12,000 miles and didn’t get one. I abided by your rules and hired a certified mechanic to install it. I got EXACTLY 12 miles out of that thing. That’s a far cry from what I was promised. Who’s going to look like the idiot in court here, REALLY? Go ahead and sue, I’d love it. I’m NEVER going to shut up! NEVER. Not even if you DO sue me. And spare us all your self pity Tamara; you’re ill, the marriage was long and painful, the I-have-5-kids routine. I just wonder how you’d feel if YOUR kids couldn’t go see you as often as they like as you lay dying because some slime sold them a junk engine and they were unable to? I’m SO seriously ALL out of compassion for people like you. You’re not hardly even worth my time now.

12 miles…….. When your car was sent down to us to repair, It was running fine. It just had a miss on one cylinder. I was working there at the time and I through a set of fuel injectors on it. I must have put 40 mile on it myself to make sure that it ran right. I’m sorry about your mom, but You are blowing this way out of proportion. The problem with your vehicle (at the time) was totally due to your old parts bolted to the new engine. I’m still driving my intrepid with a 2.7 engine he gave to me in exchange for work. It probably been almost 4 years…

Her name may have been on the title but that doesn’t mean that she wrote up the paper work. Marvin did. Quit assuming things because you’re mad. You don’t even know this woman.
