Browning, Cole and Vishnevetsky Join Thompson Coe

Thompson, Coe, Cousins & Irons LLP announced the addition of John G. Browning as partner, Ryan Cole as senior associate and Edward L. Vishnevetsky as associate to its commercial litigation team. The trio joined Thompson Coe’s Dallas office from Gordon & Rees.

Browning handles civil litigation in state and federal courts in areas ranging from employment, intellectual property, commercial cases, and the defense of products liability, professional liability and general negligence matters. He has extensive trial and alternative dispute resolution experience, especially arbitration, and has represented companies in a wide variety of industries throughout Texas and in other jurisdictions.

Cole handles civil litigation in state and federal courts in Texas and Oklahoma. His practice focuses on closely-held and medium-sized businesses in the areas of employment and product liability claims, commercial and construction lien and defect claims, including Deceptive Trade Practices Act (DTPA) claims, and patent and trademark litigation.

In construction disputes he represents owners, general contractors and subcontractors in lawsuits and mediations concerning commercial design, defect and performance issues, including breach of contract and breach of warranty claims, payment and performance bond and lien claims and disruption and delay claims.

Vishnevetsky focuses his practice in two primary areas: commercial litigation in state and federal courts, and health care regulation. In his health care practice Edward represents hospitals and physicians before the Texas Medical Board, as well as defending durable medical equipment (DME) providers and manufacturers before various state and federal regulatory agencies. He is a frequent writer of articles about health care in national legal and health care industry publications.
