Having driven in Louisiana, specifically the New orleans area, for the past 4 years, I find this new law appealing; although , I feel the resident drivers will have some trouble with it. From my personal experience, they seem to have a lot of trouble determining right from left, as is evidenced from the amount of rear-ended and otherwise wrecked autos on the Louisiana highways. This new law appears to be an attempt by the legislature to garner more tax money by imposing yet another insane law which will penalize all drivers; not just the bad ones.
