I must admit I am getting sick and tired of people who refuse to take responsibility for their own inactions, or for doing things which lead to a forgone conclusion and blaming me for the results.
An Act of God? Are we serious? Let’s get with the times, folks. In Book Two, I stopped being a malevolent deity and moved more into a charitable character, willing to forgive you for not only what you had already done, but for those things you hadn’t even THOUGHT about doing yet.
Even that Johnny-come-lately fellow, Moe Hammid (amazing people didn’t even know he was a Brethren), got it right when he named his followers after their native word for Peace.
It appears that only the comedian Flip Wilson got it right, when his persona “Geraldine” always said “The Devil made me do it”. I do good things, like make the sun warm, or the rain wet, or the apples to grow. The bad stuff that happens afterwards isn’t my fault.
I would sincerely appreciate it if all policies henceforth stopped using “Acts of God” exclusions and instead renamed them “Acts of Satan”. Put the blame where it belongs, and be thankful for the good bits in life.
Otherwise I will have to talk with my lawyer about a Stop Action and a Class Action lawsuit, Angels v. AIG et al.
Remember, do good and spend an eternity with 27 raisins (somebody got THAT translation mixed up pretty bad; we laughed for WEEKS).
Thank you for straightening us out G*d.
I do have two questions tho, do atheists ever try to rely on the “act of God” defense? and will they be able to use the “act of the Devil” defense?

Actually, Islam means “submit.” Either convert, or pay the “jizya” tax to the local Muslim authority, or be killed. So much for the “Religion of Peace.”
If you people would just relax and love your fellow man, I wouldn’t get upset and these things wouldn’t happen. Or you can blame it on my being menipausal…
“Islam, a name given by Allah to this religion (Quran 5:4), is an Arabic word which literally means obedience and peace. ISLAM is derived from the Arabic root “SALEMA”: peace, purity, submission and obedience. So ‘Islam’ would mean the path of those who are obedient to Allah and who establish peace with Him and His creatures. Its follower are called Muslims.”

Yous truly,
Me
AMEN!
Vim maiorem is the same phrase as vis maior, just declined in different grammatical cases. That should be noted since you mention etymology.

It’s not nice to fool Mother Nature.
Don’t tick me off either!!!
I really don’t know how one would go about building a defense like that. Really, who do you depose?
