this is a case of the headline not being appropriate for the article. looks like the journal is trying to catch readers attention thru a deceptive headline. the lack of inspection was not relevant enough to the story to warrant being the headline. poor journalism.

What are you , the journalist nazi police? Three men lost their lives. They had family, friends, pets that are left to pick up the pieces of their lives. I , for one, wish I could talk to some family members because this makes me righteously angry and should not have happened. Even a complete stranger such as myself that happened across this article feels their pain. On a secondary note, in which your post truly is, how do you know that the tank NOT being inspected is not the main factor of this tragedy. Something sure happened that could have been avoided. You seem like such an out of touch with reality type person, Bob. Next time read the content and not just the headline. I believe the headline is entirely appropriate and the content is sensitive to the families too!

Oh, I think it is VERY relevant to the story. Our government at work to protect it’s citizens-NOT!
My deepest sympathy to all of these families. how sad for them.
