Might as well put a target on the place.

Preachers should understand that God also allows evil to exist and that God gave people the ability to reason and use logic.

Reason and logic indicate that the best place to go on a killing spree is somewhere the LAW ABIDING citizens are prevented by law from defending themselves.

Crazed killers don’t walk into Police Stations, Army Bases, gun ranges or gun stores and start shooting. Hmmm, why not…they would be killed almost immediately by all the people legally carrying guns in those places.

It does not take a genuis to figure out the easiest targets for mass murder, just as it does not take a genuis to figure out a solution.

Allow honest law abiding citizens to defend themselves at all places and times. That after all is a God Given right.

If you read the Bible, you will see that God did say that a man should go forth with a sword in several locations. Look it up.

It just makes sense to be able to defend yourself, and God gave us the good sense to know that. To think otherwise is is folly. Gun-free places are unsafe because nuts know they are easy targets.

You cannot depend on someone else to defend you or your family. The police will always arrive in time to tag the bodies and take pictures of the crime scene. The media will be there to write about the massacre and spraying bullets. Go to www(dot)belfasttelegraph(dot)co(dot)uk and read the article about the Mumbai photographer. The article tells about a newpaperman, typically ultra-liberal and anti-gun, but this one tells a different story.

They did multiple scenarios of the Virginia massacre where a student, a professor, or both were armed when the shooter came in. One student was injured, the attacker was killed. Better ending.

I agree with Buncha and Smarter, that although there are sensational reports of “massacres” and “spraying bullets” in the news, the solution is obvious. As Buncha says, the attacks are never at a police station, military base, gun range, or other place where the “deranged murderer” expects to sustain return fire. I think I do recall an idiot attacking a police station, but it was ruled as “suicide by cop.”

FL Agent makes fun of a typo by Buncha because he has nothing substantial to contribute. To be defenseless is dumber than transposing characters in a word.

I live in a small town and anyone, even elderly ladies could be packing heat. Even in church. Everyone is polite and there have never been any attacks. Nice…

2000-year-old superstitions don’t exactly make me feel safe from one-month-old lead.
Keep personal protection personal. Your safety is ultimately nobody’s responsibility but your own, wherever you are…

“I can’t afford to look at my people that way,” said Davis, D-Earle. “You can’t vote with your head, you’ve got to vote with your heart.”

What? Is that what they mean by an educated and informed electorate? Did this guy really say something that rediculous? I’m just speachless…

No wonder the stimulus package passed… no thinking person could have supported that rubbish, at least now we see how government “thinks”.

    Anon,
I think that clearly explains the voting by most of our government officials. They obviously are not voting with a brain.
