What an insult to Americans. Why don’t they require Hispanics to pass a proficiency test in English. I for one am not enamored by the thought of living in the United States of Mexico. If I wanted to hear an speak Spanish I’d move to a Spanish speaking country. Setting up a Spanish speaking call center only encourages the problem.
I also think that since the official language of the USA is english, it should be spoken here. However, what exactly is OUR language from our founding? British, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Irish, Navajo, Cree, Nez Perce, Arapaho, Seminole, Algonquin, etc.?

My son is an ER doctor who fears being sued by some immigrant for making a mistake in diagnosing a problem because he can’t understand them.
