Thank you for your comments , Mr. Shield. BTW, do you know your wife, the red light runner, is having late dinners with Judge Smith?

Talk about blogging down the court systems with worthless reasons. Arrogant attorney who’s wife is caught in the act using his alleged superior intellect to waste the courts time in trying to get wife out of paying red light ticket. As the Eagles once sang “Get Over It” pay your ticket and move on.

This thing is a lot bigger than someone no wanting to pay a fine. These red light camera’s are relatively new here in the United States. They are being put up everywhere and not too many of them are actually in operatiion yet. The companies who are putting them up are gambling that they will eventually be the way we “police” red lights and if they are right, they will make a fortune for these companies. The article stated that the fine in Dallas was $75 but the violations aparantly don’t go against your driving record. This to me is just another way to tax us. Municipalities making money at our expense. Now I know your going to say, “just don’t run a red light blah blah blah”. The thing is how often do you approach a red light and it turns yellow as your going through it. Or its yellow and it turns red as your going through it etc. Blatant red light offenders should get a ticket, but there is an aweful lot of grey at these intersections. Anyway, I don’t like the redlight camera’s at all. I don’t think they are going to make interscetions safer. They are going to make municipalities and these camera companies a lot of money.
