I don’t think the trailers were intended as a residence for YEARS but rather a temporary housing solution. Is short time formaldehyde exposure dangerous ????

    Katrina/Rita survivors should move on….

Leigh….you are right on point. These people sit on their lazey butts waiting for next big handout instead of doing something to improve their lot. If anything, they should sue the manufacturer.

Back in 1986 I worked with the Ft Worth Tx enviromental dept. I took on many enviromental problums called in by people. One was a child that had breathing problums. The hospital could not figure out why the child was being brought in to the emergency room regulary for trouble breathing. The medics were called to the home and would transport the child for major breathing dificulty. I went to the home and started checking the home and the area arround the home. Nothing was found that would cause this problum. no one in the family was having problums except the child. I checked out toys clothing and cleaning products used around the house, and nothing was found to cause this problum with breathing. finaly after the third trip. I took air samples. we found out the new mobilhome was the problum, carpet, wallboard, were the problum.
