Hmm, if Moyo was convicted in 1989 and barred from engaging in the insurance business, how did this happen? Where’s the enforcement in Louisiana? They’re pretty good at having the old Rating Commission reject rates despite the supporting evidence, but can’t stop this “agent” from engaging in insurance fraud? Oops, forgot, probably went to the same place at the Citizens accounting system.
Louisiana leads the league in insurance fraud, at least per capita. Almost weekly, someone gets caught misappropriating funds, selling without a license, selling on companies that don’t exist. Apparently, their enforcement is asleep at the switch, kind of like our Federal Government which sets new highs in ineptitude each month.
