Sounds like we need another hurricane to finish what Katrina couldn’t do. If you choose to live in a sh#thole, don’t complain about the conditions.

Why don’t you crawl back under that rock you came from?

Until the residents of the city realize that no matter how much money is thrown at the rebuilding , nothing will happen until the residents change the political climate. Oh by the way they relected the same politicians they had before. My guess is they are trying to rebuild the same city the same way as before. Not letting go of the past. They have a real opportunity which is quickly going by the way side. The people are the problem, not the federal government. The locals need to get invovled and get rid of the corruption so the city can move forward. Same ole Same ole wont cut it.

I actually totally agree. Nagin was dropped as a baby one too many times and if you don’t have the right last name – i.e. ending in ieux or such then you can forget changing the old guard. All they do is run for different offices and have no experience for it whatsoever. That’s NOLA for you.
