Remember, Texas just ripped the scab off their little holy and sacred pedophile compound in West Texas….yet, somehow, no one thinks of them? Instead, we get speculation on death penalty opponents? Who’s the police’s PR agent and who is writing this for IJ, Fox News?

There have been jokes abound since this occurred related to the fact that the Texas Democratic Convention was meeting in Austin that weekend and had officially ended on Sat the 7th. The fire occurred in the early hours of Sun the 8th.
Could it really be that one of them, after a celebratory Saturday night on famed 6th Street, decided to make a political statement such as this?
It would not be that surprising if true.

Judging from the last comment, it looks like the speculation on Fox News (“managed and distorted”) is on target. FOWIF, go get your little biscuit from Dick Cheney and Karl Rove. Propaganda job done for today.

Let’s see now……….there was a perimeter security system that was conveniently out of commission. Why wouldn’t someone simply call a repairman to fix it? There were supposed to be 2 guards but there was only one and nobody has explained where the other one was. Even a single guard who was awake and paying attention should have noticed some jackass on the front porch lighting and tossing something on fire that erupted into a fireball. The place was being renovated which means there was plenty of flammable stuff there to fuel the blaze so all the spiderman perp needed was a match. This all translates to lazy, irresponsible, bureacratic failure to do their jobs resulting in a nice fat bill for repairs that the good old taxpayers will eat. Nice job Texas. Will anybody be fired over this? Of course not.

FOWIF you could be right on with that. I spent years in Austin and 6th street can lead to some trouble, though we never got as far as firebombing anything of course!

“they are looking for a white male, between 5 feet 9 inches and 6 feet 1 inch tall, who was wearing a ball cap, a dark shirt, work-type gloves, blue jeans or cargo style pants”
Umm, good luck with that. Maybe he will just call you like you politely suggested.
