…and the Republican Southern Strategy. The Welfare Queen stereotype, the Confederate flag bit, cryptic and formulaic talking about the victims in New Orleans and what to do with them–all code for racism and electronic lynching. Don’t put this filth on Insurance Journal. This is not Jenna. Wear your klan robes in private, pig people. They stink in public and you have now been exposed. No, we won’t let this become accepted behavior–anymore than the Holocaust.

Racism has a cause, if you think about it. A reason for existance or else it would go the way of the buggy, or draft horses, the milkman, pay phones. No, there is a reason people are racists, just like some people are afraid of snakes, mean dogs, etc… a learned response is what it is. Do not focus on the result but on the cause, that’s the solution. The hard part. People do not want to live in fear of crime. Poverty causes crime, what’s the solution? Not spewing blind responses like I just resd.
    That’s part of the problem.

The trains would be wrecked like the Superdome was. $25,000 each would be cheaper and get them to sign, or make their mark, on a release form.

Because they don’t deserve any compensation. Give ’em a raft.

Great idea! It will also help avoid the potential expense in compensating them for the toxic fume illnesses that Amtrak’s cars may create like FEMA’s house trailers did.

I like the raft idea. It would neither make their situation any better or worse than before. It would make searching for survivors easier since bright yellow rafts can be seen from choppers.

Another solution would be to permanently relocate the infirm inland before any threat occurs. That way, nobody would have to worry about them when a storm does hit.

Why not put the rafts on the trains & send them south into the delta instead?

You have some issues. There’s only one ethnic group that spews the term “racism” at everything they can. I guess if the only tool you have is a hammer, then every problem looks like a nail. This has nothing to do with race. YOU raised the issue and quite frankly, I’m offended by it.

Good, I’m offended too, very often. Maybe you’re offended enough to do something about the current state of affairs. No one likes it the way it is.
    Ever heard of Bill Cosby?
