what would adding the information actually accomplish? It’s not for law enforcement, since they have access to the information through their computers when they run the license. It’s not for the welfare of the public, like a list of local child molesters, since no one could access the information without the license. The only people who will see this are liquor store workers and check cashing locations, not exactly people who would actually care in the first place.

Alcohol related does not = drunk driving. MADD statistics are a bunch of lies. View how bad stats are being used to pass bad laws that do nothing to save lives in the US..

http://www.ridl.us – Responsibility in DUI Laws – see statistics page

    http://www.dammdrinker.com – read Big Brother’s New Prohibition

MADD mothers want prohibition. Period. They are accomplishing it one bad law at a time.

Every bartender and liquor store clerk in the country would be shot.
And every abortion provider would be drunk.

I think there is a website where one can see what organizations contributed to a politician’s campaign. This has that written all over it. Did this idiot really think about who this would help? Maybe they should just tattoo DUI on someone’s forehead. Welcome, said Big Brother.

I grew up with an alcoholic father and married an alcoholic. MADD members have lost family members and friends because of drunk drivers. One benefit I see is the bars, when checking IDs would see the information. Since they can and are held legally responsible for actions of those drunk drivers leaving their bar, shouldn’t they know. I also had a cheating husband so D for Drunk and A for Adulterer doesn’t sound so bad to me.
