Seems like the hurrican brought out ALL the bottom dewllers. We have prominent lawyers trying to bribe judges, we have DMV employees falsifying their residence – and God knows who all in between. Makes you wonder if anyone down there has any ethics.

Now, I know that is uncalled for and that most people are honest and ethical, but it sure seems like way too many folks are trying to take personal advantage of a terrible situation.

Unfortunately there are rotten people throughout our great country! A report dated April 2, 2007, stated that 600+ were charged in federal cases in 22 states from FLA to ORG and D.C. regarding Katrina/Rita fraud. An ILL mother claimed her two daughters were swept away by the flood waters, a lie! How sick people can be when money is involved!

well, another one of the government employee who is run amuck. wow! how low can she go, when she applied for food stamps, small business loan and etc. she was employed by the dmv and the manager then scammed her way. WOW! next thing you know, she’ll be a lawyer and going after more money!

truthfully, what happened to good ole honesty and truthfulness? during a crisis like Katrina, you need to depend on folks to help those in true needs of despair. it amazes me of those who are supposed to help other ended up helping themselves instead.

We all agree – and I think the law should come down really hard on these folks to provide an example to others who try to take advantage of the system unfairly.
