You people are never happy, always critizing and so negative, always looking for fault! You all must lead a very sad life! People who live in glass houses should not throw stones! But I guess none of you have faults!

    Just an observation:

If hindsight ain’t 20/20, I’ll pay for it.

The Louisiana state government did such a poor job the last time I guess they would rather overreact now. I can’t believe she is still the governor there.

I think she might have learned a lesson after recently getting grilled by defense counsel at the trial for the Manganos, the couple that were on trial for negligent homicide for the deaths at St. Rita’s Nursing Home. The Manganos were acquitted of all charges by the way.

None of us live in glass houses and we all have our faults. Fortunately, most of our political leaders pay attention to impending danger and have enough common sense to be proactive. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case in your fair state when Katrina came along. Both your mayor and governor were not just negligent, but stupid in terms of not taking action. You can thank them for much of the misery the good people of LA have suffered. One thing baffles me. Why would anyone re-elect a clown mayor and governor after they dropped the biggest ball of their lives? There is no educational value in touching a hot iron twice.

I live in a glass house… but it’s adequately insured.

Dread: Because there’s a little (D) at the end of their names. In some circles what a candidate has done (or what drugs they’ve done), how much money they cost their consitutents (or how much the accept in bribes), their stance on crime (or their criminal record), or even how much they accomplish (or how they’re able to spin the blame game) is less important than the little letter after their names.

I’m not blaming Democrats, both parties do it.

Yes, the mayor & Governor were neligient, but the real blame goes to the Corp who is responsible for the levees. But it is time to stop pointing fingers and start working together to correct this mess!
