A few years ago, Oklahoma Attorney General Drew Edmondson filed suit against some Arkansas poultry producers claiming the same thing; that chicken waste was toxic material and was polluting the Illinois River.
Does that mean that the AG\’s lawsuit is \”frivolous\” under Oklahoma law?
    Interesting.

If you\’ve got a few animals scattered across open pasture, manure is insignificant. If you concentrate 10,000 dairy cows in a confined area, and let all their waste and the resulting wash water from the dairy run into the \”public\” aquifer or river, then it\’s a different story. Don\’t throw the baby out with the bath water in either case.
