I\’m not in Louisiana, but can it really be an \”industry-standard practice\” to have home inspections with no written notes, no photos, no individualized basis for the determination? When I\’ve done inspections, they always included front and back photos and a written checklist of acceptable/unacceptable conditions. Might add two minutes to the inspection process to document it.

You have no idea how many homes and businesses have been damaged and destroyed. Additionally, the people who never carried flood insurance are waiting for handouts A/K/A Louisiana Road Home Program.

Hopefully we have insurance carriers at the end of this debacle.

I am still trying to collect from ANPAC.
They have not paid $1.00 for wind or loss of rental:

Denied, slow paid, gathered evidence to them, when it is never good enough.

The burden of proof is on the Insurer
    not the Insured.

They have forced me to retain a Law Firm to fight them.
Then they raised the rates to $2,000 yr.
    Then they sent a cancellation notice;
    home is vacant!
How much more can we tolerate?
I am living outside the home in a motorhome,
    OUTSIDE LOOKING IN.

LA Attorney General needs to compare notes with MS Attorney General,
The smoking gun is still there.

    1. SELF INSURED : BY CITY/STATE
    2. FEMA TO SELL NATURAL DISASTER INS.
    INCLUDING FLOOD, WIND, HAIL, ETC.

    3. WE\’VE BEEN PAYING THEM FOR A
    FALSE SENSE OF SECURITY
