What a sales pitch! I thought they were
in terrible straits since only part of the Federal money has come in. Now Governer Blanco is telling the world what
a great place LA is to do business?

I got the same feeling when I was reading the article. Scratched my head and wondered if I was dreaming, that she was boo-hooing just last week?

She\’s looking for another term as governor, and if Jefferson can make it in Louisiana, sure thing this clown can too.

Here\’s some advice. First, get rid of the rating commission – what an absolute joke.

Second, disengage from the litigation that\’s trying to invalidate flood exclusions – you approved these forms in the first place and they say what they say.

Third, do something about the governmental mess in New Orleans. It\’s like watching a bad tragic soap opera.

Then MAYBE you can attract some business.

Some of the comments posted here are very nice. Louisiana is just like any other state in the union. Governor Blanco is doing her very best to correct the problem. She is seeking info on what to do to make the state more acceptable to insurance companies. Other states have had problems with claims in 2006 and had higher claims experiences due to fires, tornadoes, and winter weather.
You folks that are mouthing off about Louisiana, what are your qualifications for doing so?
