I think that this article hits the nail on the head. Look at the failures of Katrina and how they all started right in the Governor\’s office.

She was slow to declare an emergency even when President Bush called her 5 days prior to landfall. She declared an emergency situation only a day prior to landfall.

The train left town and she made sure she was on it, even when Mayor Nagin refused to mobilize the school buses that were part of the evacuation plan for the city.

The next train Kathleen Blanco should be on is the one that leaves the Governor\’s office after election day!!!

I can\’t figure out if all these money transfer games are:

    A) Robbing Peter to pay Paul
    B) Rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.
    C) Both A & B

Bulldogg stole my thunder! Was born and raised in La., but have lived in Texas since \’88. It\’s not perfect but it\’s far better than what I left behind. Kathleen Blanco is an embarrassment. But, she didn\’t come to power by slipping through the back door. Those idiots elected her. Go figure!
