Steve Ladner and Harry Korczynski from the Whole Nine Yards scammed me out of a large sum of money. They use fake contractors licenses and insurance documents. They bid on your job and ask for a 50% deposit up front and never return to do the work. Steven Ladner is on the run and if you have any knowledge of his whereabouts contact Det. Sgt Ruple at the Mandeville Police Department 985-626-9711 or contact the Slidell Police department and ask for Capt. Calahan 985-643-3131 or Det. Lamulle 985-646-6179. Please get these guys off the street. Contact your local police department if you have been victimized.

I have a complaint regarding The Whole Nine Yards. The owner of company, Steve Ladner and partner Harry Korczynski are scamming homeowners out of their insurance and fema money. They are signing contracts and demanding large deposits and never retuning to do the work, providing little or no materials or doing very little work..they have scammed over $70,000 that I know of. Once this hits the papers I am sure other victims will be coming forth. I would like to see this company off of the street and the owner and partner in jail and fined.thank you.C. Smith

The Whole Nine-Yards started restoring our home in Lakeview in January. We were told that we would be back in our home in March.
It is now December 11 and are still not in our home. They have stole our money and not completed our home. We are out about $40,000.00. I feel that Harry Korczyski from Texas was the ring leader in our scam.
He was a smooth talker that we trusted. We would like to see him convicted and serve time in prison for victimizing us and other people.

Steve Ladner was arrested by me at the Louisiana State Board of Contractors hearing on Wednesday Dec 6th. He was found guilty by the board for operating without a Louisiana contractors license and fined the maximum penalty of 25% of all jobs that he did that are going before the Board. He is currently in St. Tammany Parish Lock up Jail. If you are going to have him served this is the place to do it before he disappears again. His Attorney is Gerald Weeks in New Orleans. Harry Korczynski is scheduled for arraignment on Dec 19th 2006 at 8:30 AM at the St. Tammany Parish Courthouse. You can go to http://www.wwltv.com and go to the news section and click on North Shore news for the video on his arrest. If you have not filed a complaint with the State Board of Contractors please fax your complaint to Carl Bourque, Investigator 225-765-0947

Steven Ladner was released sometime during December 2006 due to overcrowding in the jail. He was released without paying any bond…

You are correct Steven Ladner was released due to over crowding. However, he still has to go to his arraignment and face Justice.

Anyone using Reginald Sheppard as a contractor in New Orleans beware. He hired my brother and I to do work on his brother\’s house in Slidell and refused to pay. We are currently filing a lawsuit against his Company \”Sheppard Enterprises\” for non payment and for materials we purchased for the job. He has a white van with the inscription on it \”If you can imagine it we can build it\”. He has scammed many people in the New Orleans area and I am aware of his physical address. If anyone needs this info I will gladly give you this info so that he can be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law!!!!!!!! He was even a part of my Family but I never thought he would be so rotten to the core. Thanks to my cousin she is no longer with that fool.If there is anyone else that is filing a suit against him I will gladly be happy to help in any way I can. I hope someone out there can help me put this crook out of business. Please feel free to e-mail me at my address listed in this blog!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mr, Preston you can contact the Louisiana Department of Labor. The Louisiana Licensing Borad of Contractors and file a criminal complaint with the police. Jack Strain has a special task force to deal with contractor fraud. You can also file a complaint with the BBB. Good luck.

Steven Ladner has a trial date in St. Tammany Parish for theft by fraud. There are three people that filed criminal complaints against him. He should do some time regarding his theft. The Trial date is 05/07/07 at 9 AM. His partner in crime is Harry Korczynski and he is on the run with an outstanding warrant for his arrest.
