I live and work in the areas greatly affected by Hurricane Katrina. There are more \”Help Wanted\” signs everywhere than you have ever seen in your life. People that lost their \”normal\” jobs are happy staying at home collecting FEMA money, Red Cross money, food stamps, and unemployment. Anyone who wants a job has their pick of jobs right now – and many places are paying higher wages than ever before! I could use a good employee but people don\’t want to work if they can live off the government\’s dole.
