My son was hurt on the job 2 weeks ago and his employer Thomasvill Furniture in OKC that is part on Mathis Brothers intimidates him to use his on Disability Ins and not even get the surgery he needed.
He went back to work after being hurt until he could not stand it anymore until he was forced to get a lawyer that told him to go to the surgon and worry about it latter. He has not even gotten paid yet for his last hours or not even a wc check either. He is not able to drive yet and he had to have major surgery and no help from his emp. Thomasville furniture/Mathis Brothers that you know has the coverage they just will not give help. Can someone in DOL Oklahoma get this across to them to help? We have emailed the Dol Okla. and they do not even read their email and help out employees hurt on the job and are being thretened with losing their jobs. What is Brenda R. even thinking about when the on the job safety is not even abided by in the work places is my question. Can someone in the Dol help him or what?
