Senate Bill (Democratic trial lawyers) = $20-51MM in potential savings

    VS

House Bill (Repulican medical providers) =
    $70-158MM in potential savings.

Looks like an independent third party (NCCI) is convinced so, unless typical Oklahoma politics get in the way, this “should” be a slam-dunk.

But, “Toto, we’re not in Kanas anymore”. We’re in Oklahoma where every meaningful WC Bill has been shot down in flames by the trial lawyers.

    One can only hope!

Exactly. What does it matter that the NCCI had an attorney working on their opinion? Saying that the NCCI takes sides is comical. I will vote with the NCCI on this one as THEY are IN THE BUSINESS of ANALYZING WC RATES.

    Amen!

Trying to discredit the NCCI in its analysis of WC rates is akin to doing the same thing to the ISO for property & liability.

Looks like “somebody’s” grasping at straws.
