Since the Senate Bill (backed by the Democratic trial lawyers, including the Governor) focuses reform on the medical community and the House Bill (supported by the first Republican-controlled house in 80 years)focuses on the legal community, something’s gotta give.

If one side or the other can’t agree to a compromise, it looks like this will, again, have its feeding tube pulled again due to political squabbling and the citizens of Oklahoma are the real losers because, once again, we’ll have no meaningful reform for a very broken WC system.

So, every one cross your fingers that the Lawyers and Doctors can learn to get along an pass a bi-partisan bill. Sounds kind of like the “Farmer & the Cowman . . .” from Rogers & Hamerstein’s “Oklahoma” . . . They figured it out!
