Sapulpa Auto Pool Appoints Holt to New Post

August 3, 2004

Sapulpa Auto Pool Inc. announced the creation of a new position, Director of Buyer Services, which will be filled by Ted Holt.

The high-profile principal of Holt Auction Company, Holt has built a following among the automotive salvage and dealer communities throughout the Midwest over the past decade.

“To my knowledge, Sapulpa is the first in the salvage auction industry to establish an executive-level position devoted entirely to building and enhancing company/buyer relationships,” said Tim Rokisky, president of the company. “The salvage vehicle buyer is too often taken for granted in our industry, something I consider a grave oversight. Just as auctions compete for vehicle suppliers, they also compete for quality buyers. I believe that each customer is important, and that something is lost whenever a buyer misses an auction.

“Ted has a special bond with our buyers because of his many years of auctioneering,” continued Rokisky, “making him the ideal candidate to fill this key position. In addition to building relationships, he will also be acting as an ombudsman. As a customer advocate, Ted’s duties will be wide-ranging, from verifying the accuracy and integrity of all inventory data prior to sale, to addressing specific customer concerns.”

Sapulpa Auto Pool Inc., headquartered in the Tulsa area, is owned and operated by Tim and Marie Rokisky.

In addition to its Tulsa, Oklahoma City, and Kansas City auction facilities, the company offers its Total Win Division for non-total loss vehicles and its Specialty Division for exotic cars, large trucks, and heavy equipment.
