he was a good bloke, i worked for him in his pub.
loads of fun, and always had a good lock in, shame he had to get a rested, hope i will see him again.
I am fully with you tom, don’t agree with breaking the law, but certainly don’t think he deserved what he got at all. He was loads of fun and the pub is not the same any more, I say bring him back
Our government fraud us all the time. I am from New Orleans and thiese people were personel family friends of my family, no I am not italian. Just enough irish to fit it. Frances, Nofio Sr have passed away, just let Nofio jr live his life as a regular guy. He is out of it wants nothing to do with it anymore. Plus this story isn\’t told exactley right, they left out a few things and put some things in.
I was friends with Nofio long ago. We lived in New Orleans East. We played a little guitar together. His mom, Frances was nicest person you ever want to meet. Too bad they got mixed up in Dad’s business.
Something yall didn’t know. Nofio went to DeLasalle High School in New Orleans and was State wrestling champ.
I had the pleasure of knowing Nofio, A.K.A. John Stryker when he was the landlord of Strykers Railway in Hampton Wick and I can confirm that he was an excellent landord, the pub has gone to ratshit now sadly, and I considered him a true friend, I was saddened to hear of his arrest and deportation and I genuinely hope he is doing ok and I, along with the vast majority of people who had the pleasure of knowing him wish him all the best, a true gentleman with a mere blip on the chart of his lifelong character
