Claimsnet Notes New Contract with Physician Network Management Service Organization

August 20, 2003

Claimsnet.com inc., a provider of Internet-based ASP electronic claim processing solutions for the healthcare industry, announced that the Physician Network Management Service Organization of a regional health system has elected to use Claimsnet’s system and services.

The multi-facility healthcare system is based in Louisiana and serves the Louisiana, Arkansas and Texas tri-state area. The health system’s Physician Network Management Service Organization provides technology services and local support to reduce the labor-intensive tasks inherent in physician office operations. The MSO will use Claimsnet’s Internet-based system and clearinghouse services to submit health insurance claims to a wide array of payers including the health system’s own health plan, the largest health maintenance organization in northern Louisiana.

Claimsnet’s detailed real-time reporting capabilities were another key factor in the MSO’s decision and will be configured to simultaneously report to both the central billing office and the remote physician office locations.

“We are very pleased to be working with the MSO of this progressive health system. Their requirements called for a powerful, flexible and cost-effective solution and we were able to accommodate all their needs,” commented Don Crosbie, CEO of Claimsnet. “Implementation is now in process and the client should be fully operational this month.”
