Claims Guides Finishes Ark./Okla./Texas Book

August 4, 2003

Claims Guides, published by Insurance Journal, a publication of Wells Publishing, recently completed its Arkansas/Oklahoma/Texas book.

Available in print and now for the first time on CD Rom and downloadable PDF versions, this is the book’s largest page count to date. With more than 400 pages, it includes adjusters listings, an 18-month planning calendar, new fraud indicator tools and vendors that cater to the claims end of the insurance industry. The book was sent to over 2,500 claims professional doing business in this region.

According to Katie Robley, Claims Guides publisher, “I have received numerous calls and e-mails regarding the book and the accuracy. Most of them are kudos as it is very hard to publish a directory with accurate information on claims professionals as the turnover rate is immense. That is why our dedicated staff of people calling to verify the listing is one of the most important departments. We will be rolling out our e-mail verification system to update the listing information in the next couple of months to help ensure the accuracy of the listings.”

Claims Guides’ CD Rom and PDF versions are now available for all past guides, just go to www.claimsguides.com to order.

Claims Guides publishes 19 books covering the U.S. and the Web site offers a region-by-region breakdown of news for claims professionals, with more than 7,000 daily e-mail subscribers to the newsletter.

“We have added tools and charts as well and will roll out our vendor directory in the next couple of weeks,” Robley added.
