I haven’t seen one video of the Trump rally itself. From what I understand of attendees at the rally itself, it was very peaceful. And, in fact, the problems at the Capitol began well before Trump was finished speaking. If these officers were attending the rally, and even if they did walk over to the Capitol, something anyone is allowed to do, I fail to see where they should be prosecuted. One should prove they broke into the Capitol, which was not right. I am also amused that these articles continually fail to mention Antifa presence (at the Capitol while Trump was still speaking).
