I don’t recall Mr. Hunter asking policyholders to call their insurers to ask for rate increases during the wildfires or when a hurricane is approaching. The idea of asking for changes within the current rating structure is the right idea.

I am in New York. Geico just informed me this weekend that my renewal premium will go up about 8% (my wife and I have no traffic accident and violation). I called Geico and they insisted the increased premium.
The cost of Geico for running auto insurance business is substantially lower now, then it raises the premium for no good reason (other than its own love of greed).
I filed a consumer protection complaint, and no one get back to me yet.
