Summer Jobs Can Put Teens at Risk for Workplace Injuries

    Is it any surprise teens are more likely to be injured, whether at work, driving, at school etc? Not saying employers don’t have a responsibility to ensure proper workspace safety, but I’d argue teens in general due to lack of life experience and being dictated more by impulse puts them at a higher risk of injury, in any situation.

    Thank you for the article. I do agree that teens are high risk behavior prone but proper safeguards at summer jobs should alleviate most of the risks. It is a greater risk to not employ teens and have them do nothing.
