I think they need to start with the fabric. Where was it manufactured. We all have heard about China putting dangerous substances in toys, why not fabric. Where did the fabric come from, how and where was it manufactured, was there something different there. Was the polyester made with something different. Go to the source. What country was the fabric made in etc? Was there something put on the material or added to it to make it fire resistant or stain resistant? Also what about the wool? Is it from sheep? Alpaca? Was it treated some how that was different or in a different place?
