Chuck, I think you are looking at the issue from the wrong angle. Any cost of blocking technology would be minimal. On the opposite side, the cost of injuries and accidents is a huge cost to everyone. From a standpoint of lost time, lost productivity, property damage, bodily injury, lost wages, and potential disability, needless accidents and injuries present a tremendous burden on communities. If we can prevent the tremendous losses from distracted driving injuries and deaths with a simple use of technology, it is clearly a good idea.

FREQUENTLY I HAVE WITNESSED A DRIVER WATCHING A YOU TUBE VIDEO, WITH PHONE MOUNTED ON THE DASH, AS THEY WEAVE DOWN THE ROAD, AND THE POLICE CAR JUST PASSES BY WITHOUT ACTION.
