Bikes don’t belong on the road. Get your exercise elsewhere. The pitchfork brigade will now go crazy with a lecture about how great they are for the environment and such.

When bikes start carrying bike license plates, buying bike insurance, having annual state inspections, minimum safety standards, and needing a license test to ensure they know the rules of the road, then we should take them seriously.

Agreed Wayne. The bicycles I see never obey stop signs, traffic signals or use common courtesy. If they want to share the road, then share the rules and responsibility that goes with it.
