We would encourage claims adjusters to remember and advise the client/employer when a claim has been transferred to a new adjuster. Many client/employers want to stay involved in the claim, but when internal movement to a new adjuster occurs, often the last person to know is the client. We find it very frustrating when trying to forward pertinent information to the adjuster and have not been told the claim was moved. The old adjuster doesn’t always forward the new information and the new adjuster advise the client that they are now handling the claim. Please don’t make us track down the claim within your company!
