Strapping a child into a booster seat (death-trap seat)puts a child at risk of serious injury or death in the case of an accident. The new acting administrator of NHTSA, Mr. Friedman, who claims to have a degree in mechanical engineering, has stated that “booster seats save lives”. If Mr. Friedman is a mechanical engineer as he claims, then he’s a liar.

    Stefan:

Is a booster seat less safe than nothing at all? Or are you saying that children should be in a car seat? When is it safe not to use one?
