Interesting article and somewhat surprising given the financial pressures the Patient Protection Affordable Care Act has put on health insurers thru first-dollar payment for preventive care services, women’s reproductive services, and the medical loss ratio. It is unfortunate that the article did not contain a link to the study itself re specific changes for health insurance agents.

The promise of feddle gummint subsidies have enabled carriers to add jobs to deal with the crush. But the only crush they’re gonna feel is when they collapse from their own weight.
