“…a federal law that banned the undetectable guns is about to expire.”

So the right of the people to keep and bear undetectable arms shall be infringed?

And just how will that make undetectible bullets? As for the argument about airports if the scanner employed at most airports can detect the surgical mesh inside me and subject me to additional search, as has happened, I doubt that a plastic gun would make it through security.

Just have to love how politicians exagerate the truth for their agenda.

Reminds me of “You can keep your insurance”

Not only is the Second Amendment implicated because the law is too broad (no exception for semi-autos, etc.), but the First Amendment is implicated based on prior restraint. Here, the law bans speech with regard to how to create a firearm using a 3D printer.

With 3D firearms increasingly cheap to make and elusive for law makers to regulate given that there is no manufacturer involved in the process, why don’t they come to grips with the real cause of so much violence – a culture that has contempt for human life and any obstacle to getting in the way of “my rights”.
