I have yet to see a hospital staffed properly. This is the best way to curtail claims. Fatigue and communication issues always falter with poorly staffed hospitals. Simple- hire more nurses and maybe cut down on that archaic 72 hour resident shifts. Seems more of a hazing ritual than a learning tool.Tired overworked people do not produce quality care. Proactive thinking would buy more nurses, then let us see what happens.
