Engle Martin Appoints Two AVP’s to Claims Support Group

Engle Martin & Associates, Inc., a national provider of independent loss adjusting and claims management services, announced the appointment of Elissa Morgan and Hugh “Russ” Ashley as assistant vice presidents within the Claims Support Group (CSG).

Led by 16-year Engle Martin veteran Don Ouzts, Engle Martin’s CSG acts as core support to the field operations and is responsible for technical training and quality assurance.

Morgan began her insurance career with AIG where she worked for nine years before joining Engle Martin in 2002. She has held various roles within the company during her tenure, in both the loss adjusting and TPA/claims management divisions of Engle Martin.

In her role as assistant vice president of the CSG, Morgan works closely with clients, managing service expectations, establishing customized claim reporting, tracking aggregates and loss runs and using metrics to identify client claim trends. Additionally, Morgan manages the internal catastrophe response team for the company when a catastrophic event occurs.

With over twenty years of experience in the independent adjusting field, Hugh “Russ” Ashley was most recently a Regional Product Manager for Property Services at Crawford & Company before joining Engle Martin at the end of 2012.

As assistant vice president, Ashley’s focus includes internal aspects of claims support, training for new hires through Engle Martin University, continuing education for adjusters, as well as conducting internal claim audits to ensure service and reporting consistency.

“Elissa and Russ’ hands-on claims experience, coupled with technical perspective, rounds out the leadership team within the CSG, giving Engle Martin a clear advantage in the marketplace,” says Jay Campbell, executive vice president of Operations. “We are able to offer the essential support to our claims professionals in the field that our clients have grown to trust and depend on.”
