From what policyholders have experienced here in New Jersey after Superstorm Sandy, my own thought is that the carriers should be the investigated parties-not the policyholders! “Low-Balling” and delay per McKInsey & Company recommendations has been raised to a true science!!! And after 40 years in the industry, so many of the referrals are “bogus” and meant to meet a number. Hell, the carrier I worked for made a requirement of 2% Fraud Referrals per month as a goal-and if it was not met, it reflected on your PDS Performance rating!
actually the largest stock company in the states–State Farm went the same route with McKinsey & Company. Google Allstate and McKinsey together and you will see what I am talking about. They have been fighting release of the McKinsey documents for many years!! However, New Mexico did nail them.
But in New Jersey right now it’s not just Allstate. Unbelievable what is going on across the board!!
Allstate, I am not surprised about, State Farm a little bit. Glad I do not have my insurance with State Farm anymore (has been quite sometime since I have had it with them).
Nicb what a joke, a bunch of retired jerkoffs trying got justify their existence, any claim an insurer might have to pay is considered questionable by those fools,

Art: You must have worked for a pretty crappy unknown carrier.
