    I find it difficult to believe that an attorney with Gould and Lamb could possibly have gotten so much wrong, adding to all the misinformation out there. Perhaps the mistake is in the translation. It starts with mandatory reporting, throws in MSAs, then mixes in conditional payments, and then talks about the beneficiary suing an insurer within 120 days if the settlement is inadequate. What is he talking about? The beneficiary agreed to the settlement in the first place. There is no such provision. It then talks about subrogation, then back to MSAs, as if it’s all one and the same. It’s not.
