Where is the personal responsibility?? These men played for years in the NFL making millions of dollars knowing they could be injured. It is afterall a contact sport. Why do they think they should continue to make money off the NFL when they are no longer playing? You have take some personal responsiblity in a job like this & say “Yes, I could become permanently injured playing this game.” I can’t stand all the frivolous lawsuits these days. Where are we headed as a society?

These guys knew the risks of the full contact sport when they agreed to play it. Head injuries cannot be eliminated. While unfortunate, they don’t deserve any additional pay.
