Claims Journal Names Johnson Associate Editor

Wells Publishing Inc., publisher of Insurance Journal, Claims Journal and MyNewMarkets.com, recently hired Denise Johnson as associate editor of Claims Journal.

Johnson’s background includes various claims positions, including serving as a senior claims examiner, field claims representative and a claims adjuster at Nautilus a Insurance Co., Continental Western Group, Indiana Insurance and Wausau Insurance. Johnson has also written for numerous web and print publications, including Frontier Airlines’ in-flight magazine and Verdict Search, as well as for trade associations and non-profit organizations. She has a bachelor’s of science in criminal justice, as well as an associate in claims and an associate in surplus lines designations.

“As a past claims professional, I’m uniquely qualified to report on the insurance industry,” Johnson says. “I look forward to bringing up-to-date, relevant articles to my peers.”

Claims Journal is a property/casualty claims news Web site and daily digital newsletter for claims adjusters and other related professionals. The Web site has over 88,000 page views by 22,000 unique visitors each month.
