Wally why should you even respond to D’s comment. He is extremly judgemental, naïve & has no clue what he is talking about. It is clear someone touched his nerve when it was pointed out that the Dems had Congress since 06. I bet he had no clue. The economic melt down haPpen when D’s buddies Chris Todd & Barney controlled Freddie Mac & Fannie Mae! One question name 3 things that Obama has done? Just like that SNL skit nothing…..

If the 85 days of sitting on our hands with the BP oil spill serves as an example of how this administration deals with a catastrophe, then I would be a more than a little concerned if I lived in the mid-Atlantic area right now.

Really Joe? The BP oil spill and their tepid efforts at a cleanup were the administration’s fault? What exactly could they have done differently?
By the way, did you watch all the overblown coverage of the Katrina fiasco over the weekend? I’d forgotten how completely inept that last administration was.

don’t mind the continued reminders. I had someone come in just today who hadn’t been previously aware of the storm.

Just because YOU know about it, doesn’t mean that someone else does.

Besides, considering the size and the damage that most hurricanes can do, giving people a few days heads up to prepare/evacuate is all for the best.
That way you don’t see people rushing out and buying non-perishable goods and water the day before a storm.

Now that you mention it, I would love to know how the prior administration would have cracked the whip on BP. Does anyone really believe they would have been more proactive?
