since when does a disease anc control center concered with injuries based on an auto accident? are we finding more accidents caused by a disease? um… is it tooo much driving or DUI’s? there is just too many hands in this pot if CDC is involved. if they only have data from 2005, then they need to just get out of dodge with statitics because they should up-to-date numbers. think about it, if they need to have it for diseases, then if they are doing this, where are the current numbers. too much gov’t involved and too much data that is just wasted because CDC should be primary concern about diseases with regards to prevention and control.

It would be interesting to know the impact of attorney representation on the these costs. My guess is they would be dis-proportionately higher than non-represented cases in all categories since nobody is screening the medical treatments protocols for necessary and reasonable.

    I agree wudchuck.

The questions are: when will injuries from an accident become a disease? Will CDC approve the ambulance chasing lawyer as the prescription and finally, does the money (small % left after the atty’s share) really heal the wounds?

Only the govt can fund such a waste of tax dollars spent by the CDC to study accident data publish 5 years post.

The stats say it’s safer to let my wife drive or is it that men do most of the driving when both genders are in the car?

Interesting point is that the CDC “supports sobriety checkpoints”. You know, those unreasonable searches without probable cause. Good to see yet another organization thinks the 5th Amendment is just another suggestion.

Way to go MADD mothers, more BS aimed at diminishing freedoms in this country. What next, no due process? Oh, sorry, MADD and pandering legislators took away that right too in the name of DUI.

Here’s a novel idea. Stop giving my hard earned money to the CDC. Problem solved. No more bad studies.
