Looks like we do agree on something, Sarah.

I lost it when I read in IJ that folks were cnsidering suing for decrease in property values (that were not touched by oil spill). I think two cuoples in GA were suing for decrease in value of their GA properties….Unbelivable.

The total of this disaster includes the number one claimant, the U.S. Gov’t for the fine for the spill. The fine is per barrel.

Sadly, it is almost impossible to stop the fraud when a disaster happens.

Don’t worry everyone. I’m sure the empty suit in the white house ie the Great Messiah BHO will use his Chicago politics to strong arm them for another 20B large. That way they can file for bankruptcy and the US Govt will throw them a bailout compliments of us slaves…ugh tax payers.

Joker, or even more scary. BP files bankruptcy and BHO siezes BP North America assetts. Backdoor nationalization of oil.

Well Jerry….they’ve already done it with student loans, healthcar and the auto industry so whats oil and gas on top of it all? Its a perfect opportunity for these jacka$$es to ram through Cap and trade too.

I’m not one to “wish my life away” but damn…i wish it were November already.

The issue is whether victims of the BP oil gusher will also be victims of the BP Oil Spill Victim Compensation Fund.

Orange Beach, Alabama Mayor Tony Kennon recently said the pace of BP aid has been far too slow and that many Gulf businesses might not make it past the end of the summer. Referring to BP, Kennon stated, “They’ve paid essentially nothing,” he said. “As far as I’m concerned, they’re dishonest. They’re running this big PR campaign.”

“I am determined to come up with a system more generous and more beneficial than if you file a lawsuit,” Feinberg repeatedly states. Here, the question is whether the system will be more generous and more beneficial for BP or BP’s victims.

Attorney General King is correct in stating that it is time for the State of Alabama to file a lawsuit against BP. Memories fade with the passage of time. Therefore, witnesses should be deposed as soon as possible. Postponing litigation will only benefit BP.

BP’s defense will be simple: “Spill, what spill? Dispersants, what dispersants? Compensation fund, what compensation fund?”

All victims of the BP oil gusher should read this article:
