I agree with 1 through 4 but as far as Myth 5 goes, I do think certain personality traits help make you a better leader. I was born under the Leo sign and we all know Leo’s are leaders.

Honesty, being a good listener with an open mind and a team worker help too.

Quit the Obama bashing. It’s inappropriate and unwelcomed on this blog.

Technically, politicians are not “leaders,” they are “rulers.” People do what they say only because they have men with guns backing them up.

Just because I don’t appreciate the political bashing on this blog doesn’t necessarily mean I voted for Obama. But I did. Along with the majority of Americans that voted him into office. He’s here for 4 years, so get used to it. Try being a part of the solution instead of the problem like most right-wing Americans. Grow up and deal with it. We had to suffer through Dubya for 8 long, miserable years.

Kind of funny Smitty, that you want to eliminate political comments, but find it necessary to Bush bash. Get used to it. It was a steady 8 year flow of these types of comments while Bush was President. Goes with the job. This is a place for opinions after all.

There is a reason why Obama would become a topic in leadership discussion. Besides, the majority of Americans have switched opinions from supporting Obama and his politics as the polls show. When 2 out of 3 Americans believe this country is on the wrong track despite the passing of two major and historic pieces of legislation his campaign promised shows this is not one party vs. the other issue.

I appreciate your willingness to stand for and admit what you believe in. Too bad your words betray your anger so clearly, instead of your ideas.
